Every once in a while you just have to destress with some pamper time! I personally love playing with different mask types every day to improve my skin and just spoil myself after a long day. My favourite masks is at the moment is from Origins. I love this brand! Not only are their products amazing - but their ingredients are all organic and 100% natural. Recently i have begun to consider what it is i am exposing my skin to, and i am trying to buy more organic products - especially skin care products, because i feel like my skin needs to have a break from the chemicals on days where i wear a full face of makeup - which i do a lot of the time.
But back to the masks! (fun fact: i'm actually wearing a nice combination of the two masks as i'm writing this)
Theese masks has two different purpposes. The Drink Up Intensive mask is a hydrating overnight mask which contains avocado and abricot kernel oils which not only hydrates the skin, but also build a reservoir in the skin so the moisture lasts longer. I really love this masks! It has been a life-saver for me in the winter time and even on the driest of days this masks has guaranteed me soft and glowy skin in the morning! I would recommend this to everyone struggling with dehydrated skin like myself, because it really makes a big difference, and I have actually noticed that it also erases my redness in the cheeks and around my nose.
The clear improvement mask contains charcoal which works as a magnet and drags the dirt out of the pores. I have only used this twice a week for two and a half week and i haven't really seen a difference in the long run yet. I would like my skin to be less oily and have less blackheads, but for now i have only seen a difference right after i've used it. I feel like it does what it says - cleaning the pores, but im not really impressed with the result. It doesn't clean out all my blackheads, but i can see an improvement in my skin and my pores seem a lot smaller right after i've used it and in the long run too, so i guess i just have to give it a little time.
In the future i really want to try the Origins Out Of Trouble mask for my oily T-zone where i tend to get a lot of breakouts. I have heard many great things about this mask and it seems to be working so i'll have to save up for that.
